About Me

I am a Registered Nurse with over 15 years experience in primary care.  My main focus is on diabetes education, smoking cessation counselling, coordination of care and mental health.  I am a passionate educator of medical students, nurses and allied health professionals. I was the recipient of the Interprofessional Health Teaching Award for The Undergraduate Education Awards Program from the Department of Family and Community Medicine at University of Toronto in November 2013.
